Dates: Monday, July 20 – Sunday, July 26, 2026
Day 0 (July 20): European Blues Challenge Romania 2026 – the official national competition to select Romania’s representative for the European Blues Challenge 2027.
Festival proper (July 21–26): Six days and six nights of music on three stages.
Venue: Live Music Summer Camp Brezoi, Vâlcea County, România.
Stages & Program
The festival experience is spread across three unique stages:
Main Stage – the centerpiece of the festival, where international headliners perform each evening.
Forest Stage – an intimate stage set in the trees, dedicated to acoustic sets, collaborations, and storytelling concerts.
Night Stage – a covered space where jam sessions, late-night shows, and spontaneous collaborations keep the music alive until dawn.
Program Highlights:
Day 0 – July 20: European Blues Challenge Romania 2026, featuring top Romanian blues acts in competition.
Days 1–6 (July 21–26): Over 40 bands and artists from Europe, the US, Canada, and beyond. Expect legendary names, rising stars, and unique projects created especially for Brezoi.
Nightly jam sessions on the Night Stage bring together artists from different countries for unforgettable moments.
Tickets & Access
Festival Passes: 6-day full access passes for the entire festival.
Day Tickets: Available for individual days once daily lineups are announced.
Children’s Access: Free entry for children under 14, accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.
Access for Disabled Guests: Free entry for persons with certified disabilities (with valid documents).
Bracelet System: Upon presenting your ticket at the gate, you will receive a festival bracelet. It must be worn at all times during the event and allows in-and-out access.
Accommodation & Camping
Tent Camping: Dedicated camping area near the festival, with ~500 tent spots, showers, toilets, power points, WiFi, and 24/7 security.
Caravan Camping: ~200 caravan spots with all essential facilities.
Hotels & Guesthouses: Options available in Brezoi, Călimănești-Căciulata (18 minutes), Râmnicu Vâlcea (40 minutes), Voineasa, and Sibiu (1 hour).
Airbnb & Local Rooms: Many locals offer rooms during the festival. Official Facebook groups are available for offers.
Transport & Parking
By Car: Brezoi is easily accessible via DN7/E81 road (Bucharest–Sibiu route). Free parking is available near the festival.
By Train/Bus: Regular trains and buses run to Râmnicu Vâlcea and Călimănești, with festival shuttles connecting to Brezoi.
Shuttles: Daily shuttle buses from Călimănești-Căciulata to the festival grounds.
Carpooling: Encouraged via official festival Facebook groups.
Cashless Payment
The festival is 100% cashless.
Payments are made with the FESTIVAL CARD, which can be topped up at “Top-Up Points” using cash or bank cards.
Refunds for unused balance are available at the end of the festival.
ATMs are available in Brezoi town (nearest at City Hall, ~400m from festival entrance).
What You Can Bring
Pets (with Pet Responsibility Statement).
Strollers, folding chairs, small bags.
Musical instruments (guitar, harmonica, drums – encouraged for jams!).
Raincoats, sunscreen, hats, refillable bottles.
Medication with doctor’s note if required.

Glass bottles, food & drinks (except in camping areas).
